Have Speed. Will Travel.

The Redbull Downhill Derby has been happening in Los Angeles for seventeen years. I feel a bit embarrassed, but I have somehow missed this event the entire time. So when I got a credentials to photograph it for LA Downtown News last month I was stoked. These are some of the images I made while working within the perimeters of my press access, which to be honest wasn’t a lot. It was still fun and a challenge to photograph, and that’s all that matters. I’m pretty sure I walked 18,000 steps that day. I’m looking forward to next year.
